Hummus

    Prepare Ingredients

    Rinse and drain the canned chickpeas. Peel and chop the garlic.

    Blend Hummus

    In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and water. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary.

Pico de Gallo

    Chop Ingredients

    Finely dice the tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeño. Chop the cilantro.

    Mix Pico de Gallo

    In a bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt. Stir well to combine.

Spicy Black Bean Dip

    Prepare Ingredients

    Rinse and drain the canned black beans. Peel and chop the garlic.

    Blend Black Bean Dip

    In a blender or food processor, combine the black beans, garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and water. Blend until smooth.

Pita Chips or Vegetables

    Prepare Pita Chips

    Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut pita bread into triangles.

    Bake Pita Chips

    Place pita triangles on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Bake for 10-12 minutes until crispy.

    Wash and cut fresh vegetables into sticks or bite-sized pieces.
