Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Dice the bacon, ham, and sausage into small pieces. Chop the onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms into small bits. Grate or cut the American cheese into small pieces.

Cooking the Omelet

  1. 2

    Cook the Meats

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add the diced bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.

  2. 3

    Add Remaining Meats

Add the diced ham and sausage to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until browned and heated through. Remove from skillet and set aside with the bacon.

  3. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender and slightly caramelized.

  4. 5

    Prepare the Eggs

In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together with salt and pepper until well combined.

  5. 6

    Cook the Omelet

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet over the sautéed vegetables. Cook for about 3-4 minutes without stirring, until the edges start to set. Use a spatula to push the cooked edges towards the center, allowing uncooked eggs to flow to the edges.

  6. 7

    Add the Fillings

Once the eggs are mostly set, sprinkle the cooked meats and American cheese evenly over one half of the omelet.

  7. 8

    Fold and Finish Cooking

Carefully fold the other half of the omelet over the fillings. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts and the omelet is cooked through.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve

Slide the omelet onto a plate, slice it into wedges, and serve hot. Enjoy your hearty Beast Omelet!
