Method

Burger Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Meats

In a large bowl, combine the ground pork and ground beef. Mix well until fully combined.

  2. 2

    Season the Mixture

Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and mix again until evenly distributed.

  3. 3

    Bind the Mixture

Add the egg and breadcrumbs to the meat mixture. Mix until everything is well combined.

  4. 4

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty.

Mac and Cheese Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 6

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened.

  3. 7

    Add Cheese

Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper until melted and creamy.

  4. 8

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until well coated.

Burger Assembly

  1. 9

  2. 10

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  3. 11

    Assemble the Burger
