Filling

Eggroll Wrappers

Method

Filling Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Steak

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the beef steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let it rest.

  2. 2

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, add diced onion and green bell pepper. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender.

  3. 3

    Mix Ingredients

Once the steak has rested, slice it thinly. In a bowl, combine the sliced steak, sautéed vegetables, cream cheese, and provolone cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

Assembling the Eggrolls

  1. 4

    Prepare Eggroll Wrappers

Lay an eggroll wrapper on a clean surface, with one corner facing you.

  2. 5

    Fill the Wrappers

Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling mixture in the center of the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll up tightly to seal.

  3. 6

    Seal the Eggrolls

Use a little water to seal the edges of the wrapper. Repeat this process for all eggrolls.

Frying

  1. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 8

    Fry the Eggrolls

Carefully add the eggrolls to the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 9

    Serve

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
