Burger Patties

Toppings

Method

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, beer, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

Cook the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  2. 4

    Grill the Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each. Grill for another 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are grilling, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Spread a tablespoon of Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each bun. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on top, followed by a generous spoonful of sauerkraut and a sprinkle of chopped green onions. Top with the other half of the bun.
