Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Generously season both sides of the ribeye steak with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450-500°F or 230-260°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Drizzle olive oil on the steak and place it on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust the time for your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.

Garlic Butter Preparation

  1. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.

  2. 6

    Add Garlic and Parsley

Add minced garlic and chopped parsley to the melted butter. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 7

    Season

Add a pinch of salt to the garlic butter and stir well.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 8

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips.

  2. 9

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 10

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 11

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain and pat dry the potato strips. Fry them in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

  5. 12

    Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil, drain on paper towels, and sprinkle with salt.
