Prepare the Edamame
Start by rinsing the edamame pods under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities.

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Drain and Season
After steaming, carefully drain the edamame in a colander. Transfer the pods to a serving bowl and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of sea salt. Toss gently to coat the edamame with the salt.

Serve the steamed edamame warm as a snack or appetizer. Enjoy by squeezing the beans out of the pods with your fingers.
