Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Nueske's bacon until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towel.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Onion

Slice the onion into rings and sauté in the same skillet until caramelized. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Burger

Form the house blend ground beef into a patty and season with salt and pepper. Cook on a grill or skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place the Fontina cheese on top of the burger to melt.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread the 'Oak' sauce on the brioche bun, place the burger patty with melted cheese, add bacon, and top with sautéed onions. Close the bun.

Truffled Frites Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and cut the russet potatoes into thin fries.

  2. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot. Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

  3. 8

    Season the Frites

Drizzle truffle oil over the fries and season with salt to taste. Toss to combine.
