Crab Cake Ingredients

Method

Crab Cake Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, egg, and salt and pepper. Gently fold in the bread crumbs, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh parsley until everything is well mixed.

  2. 2

    Form the Cakes

Using your hands, form the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick. Place the formed cakes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Chill the Cakes

Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the cakes to firm up.

  4. 4

    Cook the Cakes

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil. Once hot, gently place the crab cakes in the skillet, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and heated through.
