Bone Marrow Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

1

Prepare the Garlic Confit

In a small saucepan, combine the garlic cloves and olive oil. Cook over low heat for about 30-40 minutes, until the garlic is soft and golden. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

2

Prepare the Bone Marrow

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Place the beef bone marrow pieces upright in a baking dish. Season with salt and black pepper. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, until the marrow is bubbly and slightly browned.

3

Prepare the Crostini

While the marrow is baking, slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices. Brush both sides with melted butter and place on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.

4

Serve

Remove the bone marrow from the oven. Serve immediately with the confit garlic, chopped fine herbs, and crostini on the side for spreading.
