Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the turkey mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the turkey patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat.

Prepare the Toppings

  1. 4

    Prepare Lettuce

Wash and dry the romaine lettuce leaves. Tear them into smaller pieces if desired.

  2. 5

    Slice Tomato

Slice the medium tomato into thick rounds.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on a skillet for added texture.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, layer a generous amount of romaine lettuce followed by the turkey patty. Add tomato slices on top of the patty and finish with a dollop of pickled chipotle aioli. Place the top half of the bun on each burger.
