Method

Prepare the Simple Syrup

  1. 1

    Make the Simple Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar with 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until the sugar has completely dissolved. Once dissolved, remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

Prepare the Dragonfruit and Lemon

  1. 2

    Cut the Dragonfruit

Peel the dragonfruit and cut it into small cubes. Place the cubes in a blender.

  2. 3

    Juice the Lemons

Cut the lemons in half and use a juicer to extract the juice. Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp, and add it to the blender with the dragonfruit.

Blend and Combine

  1. 4

    Blend the Mixture

Blend the dragonfruit and lemon juice together until smooth. You may need to add a little bit of the cold water to help it blend.

  2. 5

    Combine All Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the blended dragonfruit and lemon juice with the simple syrup and 4 cups of cold water. Stir well to combine.

Serve

  1. 6

    Chill and Serve

Chill the pink lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes prior to serving. Serve over ice and enjoy!
