Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cold Brew

If you haven't done so already, prepare your cold brew coffee by steeping coarsely ground coffee in cold water for at least 12 hours. Strain and store in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Soak the Dates

Pit the Medjool dates and soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften them. This makes them easier to blend.

Blending

  1. 3

    Blend the Ingredients

In a blender, combine the cacao powder, cold brew coffee, almond milk, banana, spinach, kale, soaked dates (drained), ground cinnamon, almonds, and flax seeds.

  2. 4

    Blend Until Smooth

Blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined and smooth. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure even blending.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Cold Brew

Pour the cacao cold brew into glasses. Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of cacao powder or a few slices of banana on top.

  2. 6

    Enjoy

Serve immediately and enjoy your nutritious and energizing cacao cold brew!
