Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil over both sides of the steaks. Season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and fresh rosemary.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat your grill to high heat. Place the seasoned steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Fries

  1. 3

    Cut the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the fries to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  4. 6

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle them with salt and paprika to taste.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Slice the grilled steak against the grain. Serve the steak alongside the crispy fries. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
