Method

Milanesa Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Breading Stations

Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Bread the Cutlets

Dredge each beef cutlet in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip in the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Press gently to adhere.

  3. 3

    Fry the Cutlets

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded cutlets and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Salad Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare the Salad Ingredients

Wash and dry the mixed greens. Slice the tomatoes into wedges.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens and tomato wedges. Crumble feta cheese on top.

Citrus Vinaigrette Preparation

  1. 6

    Mix the Vinaigrette

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, orange juice, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Place a portion of the salad on each plate, top with a fried milanesa cutlet, and drizzle with citrus vinaigrette before serving.
