Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Cod

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Rinse the Icelandic cod fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a baking dish.

2

Make Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

3

Season the Fish

Drizzle the garlic butter over the cod fillets. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Squeeze half of the lemon juice over the fish.

4

Bake the Cod

Bake the cod in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.

5

Serve

Remove the cod from the oven, garnish with lemon slices, and serve with tartar sauce on the side.
