Preparation Instructions

1

Prepare the Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the lump crab meat, finely chopped red bell pepper, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, black pepper, and the egg. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.

2

Form the Crabcakes

Using your hands, form the mixture into patties about 2-3 inches in diameter and about 1 inch thick. Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3

Chill

Cover the crabcakes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape while cooking.

4

Cook the Crabcakes

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, gently add the crabcakes, cooking in batches if necessary. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

5

Serve

Serve the crabcakes hot with tartar sauce and cocktail sauce on the side.
