Prepare the Marinara Sauce

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and sugar. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Simmer the Sauce
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add chopped fresh basil just before serving.

Bread the Ravioli
Dip each cheese-filled ravioli first into the flour, coating it lightly. Then, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off, and finally coat it thoroughly with the bread crumbs.

Heat Oil for Frying
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Ravioli
Carefully add the breaded ravioli to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Assemble and Serve

Plate the Ravioli
On a serving plate, arrange the fried ravioli.

Top with Marinara Sauce
Spoon the homemade marinara sauce generously over the ravioli.

Add Mozzarella
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the ravioli and sauce, and place it under a broiler for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese slightly.

Serve the Razorback Ravioli hot, garnished with additional basil if desired.
