Marinade
Chicken
Method
Marinade Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a medium bowl, combine the finely chopped jalapenos, minced garlic, olive oil, lime juice, honey, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well blended.
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours for more flavor.
Cooking the Chicken
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
- 4
Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Discard the remaining marinade. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- 5
Rest and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with lime wedges and your choice of sides.
