Marinade Preparation

Combine Marinade Ingredients
In a bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breast in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Grilling the Chicken

Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken breast from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on one side.

Flip and Cook
Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes on the other side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Rest the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Slice the grilled chicken breast and serve it with your choice of side item, such as steamed broccoli.
