Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Linguine

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Clams

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add Wine and Clams

Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Add the clams, cover the skillet, and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened. Discard any clams that do not open.

  4. 4

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the clams and toss to combine. If the mixture is too dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.

  5. 5

    Finish and Serve

Stir in the chopped parsley, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately with a sprinkle of additional parsley if desired.
