Flatbread and Toppings

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Short Ribs

Season the short ribs with salt and pepper. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the short ribs for about 4-5 minutes per side until nicely charred and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from grill and let rest.

  2. 2

    Caramelize the Onions

In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until they become golden brown and caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Flatbread

On each piece of flatbread, spread the caramelized onions evenly. Slice the grilled short ribs and layer them on top of the onions. Add sun-dried tomatoes and tear pieces of burrata cheese to place on top.

  4. 4

    Finish with Arugula

Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the assembled flatbreads. Top with fresh arugula and season with more salt and pepper if desired.

  5. 5

    Serve

Cut the flatbreads into slices and serve immediately.
