Method
Steak Preparation
- 1
Season the Steak
Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, then season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Grill the Steak
Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned steaks and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached.
- 3
Rest the Steak
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
French Fries Preparation
- 4
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.
- 5
Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 325°F (160°C).
- 6
Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry them for about 5-6 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and drain on paper towels.
- 7
Season the Fries
While still hot, sprinkle the fried potatoes with salt to taste.
Garlic Butter Preparation
- 8
Make Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook gently for about 2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat.
- 9
Add Parsley
Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt to taste.
