Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Seafood
Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Set aside. If using frozen lobster meat, ensure it is thawed and chopped into bite-sized pieces.
- 2
Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
Cooking
- 3
Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
- 4
Add Snow Peas and Seafood
Add the snow peas and sauté for an additional 2 minutes. Then, add the prepared shrimp and lobster meat to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- 5
Pour in the Sauce
Pour the prepared sauce over the seafood and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly and bring to a simmer.
- 6
Thicken the Sauce
Continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the shrimp are cooked through.
