Method

Prepare the Noodles

  1. 1

    Cook the Noodles

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add Lo Mein noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually around 4-6 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Shrimp and Vegetables

  1. 2

    Prep the Shrimp

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the large shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 3

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the sliced bell pepper, julienned carrot, and snow peas. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender yet crisp. Add the chopped green onion in the last minute of cooking.

Make the Sauce

  1. 4

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, water, minced garlic, and minced ginger until smooth.

Combine and Serve

  1. 5

    Mix Everything Together

Add the cooked noodles and shrimp back to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over the mixture and toss everything together over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until well combined and heated through.

  2. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the top before serving. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Shrimp Lo Mein!
