Method
Preparing the Pasta
- 1
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside.
Cooking the Vegetables
- 2
Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, zucchini, and carrot to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- 3
Add Cherry Tomatoes
Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
Combining Ingredients
- 4
Toss the Pasta
Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss everything together to combine, ensuring the pasta is well-coated with the oil and mixed with the vegetables.
- 5
Season and Serve
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped basil. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Serve warm.
