Prepare glass
Place 4 standard ice cubes into an old-fashioned (rocks) glass. Use clear large cubes if available to slow dilution.

Add spirits
Pour 2 fl oz vodka over the ice, then add 1 fl oz Kahlúa.

Top with milk
Slowly pour 1 fl oz whole milk over the back of a spoon just above the surface to create a layered look. Alternatively, pour directly and stir gently for a unified drink.

Finish and serve
Optionally float 2 coffee beans on top as a garnish. Serve immediately with a short stirring spoon so the drinker can mix to taste.
