Method

Prepare the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Let the tea steep for about 10-15 minutes to achieve a strong flavor.

  3. 3

    Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a pitcher using a fine mesh strainer to remove the tea leaves. Stir in 1 tablespoon of sugar until dissolved.

Prepare the Milk Mixture

  1. 4

    Combine Milks

In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk and 3 tablespoons of evaporated milk until well combined. Set aside.

Assemble the Drink

  1. 5

    Ice Glasses

Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, leaving some space at the top for the tea and milk mixture.

  2. 6

    Add Tea

Pour the prepared Thai tea over the ice, filling the glass about 3/4 full.

  3. 7

    Add Milk Mixture

Top the iced tea with the milk mixture prepared earlier. Stir gently to combine.

  4. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve with a straw. Enjoy your refreshing Thai iced tea!
