Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Shape the mixture into two equal-sized patties.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

In a skillet, heat cooking oil over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through. Remove patties from the skillet and keep warm.

  4. 4

    Make the Gravy

In the same skillet, add chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.

  5. 5

    Thicken the Gravy

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Gradually stir into the gravy, cooking until thickened.

  6. 6

    Serve

Return the patties to the skillet, spoon gravy over them, and serve hot with your choice of sides and rolls.
