Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Turkey Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal parts and form into patties, about 1/3 pound each.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  4. 4

    Prepare the Bun

While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns in another pan or on a grill.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Place the cooked turkey patty on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and purple onion. Cover with the top half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the turkey burger with fresh cut fries or house made chips on the side.
