Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mushrooms

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the ground beef into two equal portions (1/3 pound each) and form into patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Burgers

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, placing a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns lightly. Place the cooked patty with melted Swiss cheese on the bottom half of each bun. Top with sautéed mushrooms and cover with the top half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately with a side of fresh-cut fries or house-made chips.
