Preparing the Dough

Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Mix in Flour
Once the mixture is boiling, remove it from the heat and quickly stir in 1 cup of all-purpose flour until the mixture forms a ball. Let it cool for about 5 minutes.

Add Eggs
Add 2 large eggs to the dough, one at a time, mixing well after each addition until the dough is smooth and glossy.
Cinnamon Sugar Mixture

Combine Cinnamon and Sugar
In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup of granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon. Set aside.
Frying

Heat Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat 4 cups of vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Pipe Churros
Fit a piping bag with a large star-shaped tip and fill it with the dough. Pipe 4 to 6-inch long strips of dough directly into the hot oil.

Fry Until Golden
Fry the churros for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown. Remove them from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
