Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water.

Sautéing Vegetables

  1. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Then, add the bell peppers, zucchini, carrot, and broccoli. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

  2. 3

    Add Cherry Tomatoes

Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until they start to soften.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Mix Pasta and Vegetables

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as necessary to create a light sauce.

  2. 5

    Season and Serve

Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil just before serving. Serve immediately.
