Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Remove the sirloin steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Pan

Heat a cast-iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium-high heat until hot.

  4. 4

    Cook the Steak

Place the steak in the hot skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned. Flip the steak and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or until the desired doneness is achieved.

  5. 5

    Rest and Serve

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice against the grain and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
