Prepare the Glass
Chill an Old Fashioned glass by filling it with ice and setting it aside.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the Madre Mezcal, Codigo Reposado, Angostura Bitters, and agave syrup.

Stir
Add ice cubes to the mixing glass and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain
Empty the ice from the chilled Old Fashioned glass and strain the mixture into the glass.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and place it in the glass as a garnish.
