Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster Tail

Preheat your broiler to high. Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of the lobster tail lengthwise. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on top of the shell. This helps the meat cook evenly and absorb the broiled flavors.

  2. 2

    Season the Lobster

Brush the lobster meat with melted butter and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top for added flavor.

  3. 3

    Broil the Lobster

Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil them for about 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and lightly browned. Be sure to keep an eye on them to avoid overcooking.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Drawn Butter

While the lobster is broiling, melt the remaining butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Keep warm until ready to serve.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once the lobster tails are done, remove them from the oven. Cut them into 4, 6, or 8 pieces for sharing. Serve with the warm drawn butter and additional lemon wedges.
