Method

Prepare Coffee

  1. 1

Brew a fresh cup of coffee using your preferred method (drip, French press, etc.). Make sure it's hot and strong for the best flavor.

  2. 2

While the coffee is brewing, prepare your glass. A heatproof glass or an Irish coffee mug works best.

Mix Coffee and Whiskey

  1. 3

In your prepared glass, pour in the freshly brewed coffee, leaving some space at the top for the cream.

  2. 4

Add the Irish whiskey and stir in the sugar until it is completely dissolved.

Prepare Cream Topping

  1. 5

In a mixing bowl, add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.

  2. 6

Using a hand mixer or whisk, whip the cream until it forms soft peaks. Be careful not to over-whip.

Assemble Irish Coffee

  1. 7

Gently float the whipped cream on top of the coffee mixture by spooning it over the back of a spoon.

  2. 8

Serve immediately and enjoy your Irish Coffee while it's hot!
