Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Trim and Halve Brussels Sprouts
Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water. Remove any yellow or damaged leaves, and trim the stem end. Cut each Brussels sprout in half lengthwise.
Cooking
- 3
Season the Brussels Sprouts
In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- 4
Roast the Brussels Sprouts
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Making the Balsamic Glaze
- 5
Combine Ingredients
In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar and honey.
- 6
Cook the Glaze
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
Serving
- 7
Plate and Drizzle
Once the Brussels sprouts are roasted, remove them from the oven and transfer to a serving dish. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top and serve warm.
