Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Clean the Clams

Rinse the Manila clams under cold running water to remove any sand or debris. Soak them in a bowl of water for about 20 minutes to help release any trapped sand.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Peel the potato and cut it into quarters. Husk the corn and break it into halves if desired.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Boil the Corn and Potato

In a large pot, fill with enough water to cover the corn and potato. Add 1 tsp of salt and bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, add the potato quarters and corn. Cook for about 10-12 minutes until the potato is fork-tender and the corn is bright yellow.

  2. 4

    Cook the Clams

Add the cleaned Manila clams to the pot with the corn and potato. Cover the pot and steam for about 5-7 minutes or until the clams have opened up. Discard any clams that do not open during cooking.

Serving

  1. 5

    Toss with Sauce

Carefully drain the pot and transfer the corn, potato, and clams to a serving platter. Drizzle with 1/2 cup of Mr. & Mrs. Crab Special Sauce, sprinkle with black pepper and minced garlic, and toss gently to combine.

  2. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with a slice of lemon and serve immediately while hot.
