Method

Preparation

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

2

Season the Ribs

Rub the baby back ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Drizzle with olive oil and massage the seasoning into the meat.

Cooking

3

Braise the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet, cover tightly with aluminum foil, and braise in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until tender.

4

Make the BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5

Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the foil. Brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce over the ribs. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

Serving

6

Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
