Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Alfredo Sauce

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Combine Cream and Cheese

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Grana Padano cheese, salt, and black pepper. Continue stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

  4. 4

    Toss the Pasta

Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Garlic Baguette Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with the minced garlic and chopped parsley until well combined.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Baguette

Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter evenly on both halves.

  3. 7

    Bake the Baguette

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the baguette halves on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
