Method

Steak Preparation

1

Season the Steak

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the sirloin steak.

2

Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the seasoned steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is achieved. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Chimichurri Sauce Preparation

3

Prepare the Chimichurri

In a food processor, combine parsley, oregano, garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, red chili flakes, and salt. Blend until finely chopped and well mixed. Set aside.

Salad Preparation

4

Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.

5

Make the Vinaigrette

In a small bowl, whisk together clamato juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Pour this vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to combine.

Crostini Preparation

6

Prepare the Crostinis

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices. Brush both sides with olive oil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

7

Top with Goat Cheese

Remove the crostinis from the oven and spread goat cheese on top of each slice. Return to the oven for an additional 2 minutes to warm the cheese.

Assembly

8

Assemble the Salad

Slice the grilled steak into thin strips. Arrange the salad on a serving platter, top with sliced steak, drizzle chimichurri sauce over the top, and serve with goat cheese crostinis on the side.
