Burger Sauce

BBQ Sauce

Method

Preparing the Burger Sauce

  1. 1

    Make the Burger Sauce

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth. Set aside.

Cooking the Mushrooms

  1. 2

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are browned and tender. Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cooking the Bacon

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In the same skillet, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, crumble or chop into pieces.

Cooking the Burgers

  1. 4

    Shape and Cook the Patties

Form the ground beef into four equal patties. Season each side with salt and black pepper. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of aged white cheddar on each patty to melt.

Assembling the Loaded Cheeseburgers

  1. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns lightly. Spread a generous amount of burger sauce on the bottom bun. Place the cheeseburger patty on top, followed by sautéed mushrooms, crumbled bacon, and a drizzle of BBQ sauce. Top with the other half of the bun. Serve immediately.
