Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. This helps to ensure that they will be crispy when cooked.
- 2
Season the Wings
In a large mixing bowl, add the chicken wings. If using salt and pepper, sprinkle 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper evenly over the wings. If you prefer honey garlic, add 1 tbsp of honey and 1 tsp of garlic powder. For hot wings, add 2 tbsp of hot sauce. Mix well to coat the wings evenly with your chosen seasoning.
Cooking
- 3
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This temperature will help to crisp up the chicken wings.
- 4
Arrange the Wings
Place the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Ensure they are not overcrowded to allow for even cooking.
- 5
Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through. They should be golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Serve
Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them sit for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
