Fries

Method

Bacon Cheeseburger

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all ingredients and prepare the vegetables. Wash and slice the lettuce, tomato, and onion.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Form the Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide the beef into four equal portions and shape into burger patties.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

In the same skillet used for the bacon, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.

  5. 5

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns if desired. Place the cooked patty on the bottom bun, add bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries

  1. 7

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 8

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to make fries.

  3. 9

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.

  4. 10

    Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.

  5. 11

    Serve

Remove the fries from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving alongside the bacon cheeseburger.
