Mix the Cocktail Base
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Woodford Reserve Bourbon and 1 oz of fresh lemon juice. Fill the shaker with ice.

Shake the Mixture
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Prepare the Glass
Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.

Add the Red Wine Float
Carefully pour 1 oz of your chosen red wine over the back of a spoon so that it floats on top of the bourbon and lemon juice mixture.
Garnishing

Garnish the Drink
Add a lemon wheel and a maraschino cherry on top as garnish. Serve immediately.
