Prepare the Mint
Take the fresh mint leaves and gently muddle them in the bottom of a cocktail shaker to release their oils.

Add the Liquids
Pour in the Aperol, Jose Cuervo Tradicional® Blanco Tequila, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup into the shaker with the muddled mint.

Shake the Mixture
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain into Glass
Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice. Alternatively, serve it straight up in a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish the Drink
Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim of the glass and a fresh mint sprig for aroma and presentation.
