Method

Prepare the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Make the Vinaigrette

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.

Prepare the Salad

  1. 4

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, toss together the fresh artisan greens, halved grape tomatoes, diced avocado, roasted corn, and thinly sliced red onion.

  2. 5

    Add Vinaigrette

Drizzle the spicy vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to coat everything evenly.

Make the Goat Cheese Crostinis

  1. 6

    Prepare the Baguette

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch slices.

  2. 7

    Brush and Bake

Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.

  3. 8

    Top with Goat Cheese

Spread goat cheese onto each toasted baguette slice. Optionally, sprinkle with fresh herbs for extra flavor.

Serve

  1. 9

    Plate the Salad

Place the salad on plates and top with sliced steak. Serve the goat cheese crostinis on the side.
