Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

Rub the steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Making the Vinaigrette

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well emulsified.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 4

    Prepare the Salad Base

In a large bowl, combine fresh artisan greens, halved grape tomatoes, diced avocado, roasted corn, and thinly sliced red onion.

  2. 5

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the spicy vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to combine.

  3. 6

    Add the Steak

Slice the rested steak thinly and arrange it over the salad.

Making the Goat Cheese Crostinis

  1. 7

    Prepare the Baguette

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.

  2. 8

    Toast the Crostinis

Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and spread goat cheese on each slice.

  3. 9

    Add Fresh Herbs

Sprinkle fresh herbs over the goat cheese crostinis before serving.
