Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into small cubes (about 1-inch pieces) for even cooking.

  2. 2

    Prepare the tomato

Slice the tomato in half. Drizzle with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the home fries

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed potatoes, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.

  2. 4

    Roast the tomato

While the potatoes are cooking, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned tomato halves on a baking sheet and roast for about 10-15 minutes until soft and slightly caramelized.

  3. 5

    Cook the steak

In a separate skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time to your desired doneness. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  4. 6

    Cook the eggs

In the same skillet used for the steak, reduce heat to medium and crack the eggs into the skillet. Cook to your preferred doneness (sunny side up, over easy, etc.), about 3-5 minutes.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Toast the bread

While the eggs are cooking, toast the multi-grain bread slices until golden brown.

  2. 8

    Plate the dish

On a plate, arrange the home fries, sliced steak, cooked eggs, and roasted tomato halves. Serve with the toasted multi-grain bread on the side.
